Case Study: Lauterstein

Ingeborg Lauterstein was born in Vienna, Austria, and lived there during the Nazi occupation in World War II. Having published two books in the 1980s, The Water Castle and Vienna Girl, by the 2000s she found her books out of print and unavailable. Though she republished her works independently in print, Ingeborg still sought means to keep her books current and globally accessible.

Content Imperative

This content imperative brought her to OBS. We converted her two novels into e-book formats, making them available on e-readers such as the Kindle, Nook, and iPad.
