An agile publishing services company, OBS has a small “home office” staff in Rockport, Mass. We contract with trusted peers worldwide to create expert teams that provide standards-based, custom, state-of-the-art publishing services and software solutions for our clients. Laura Fillmore, President—founded the company in 1982, and has worked in the publishing industry since 1976. An Internet publishing pioneer, she presents at universities and publishing conferences worldwide.
Elizabeth Foz, Editorial, Sales, Marketing Administrator—focuses a keen editorial eye on all things OBS, and keeps our office running smoothly.
Karen Fuhrman, Senior Production Manager—manages projects with a precision and care much appreciated by clients and colleagues alike.
Andrew Maddox, IT Coordinator—uses his expertise in educational computing and design to keep our own technology performing at its best.
David Marsh, CFO—brings an extensive background in banking, business management, and philanthropy to OBS.
Gretchen Phillips, System Administrator—expert in all areas of UNIX support, including system configuration and installation, networking, and daily operations.
David Pierson, Senior Technical Production Manager—brings diverse technical, services, and project management skills to OBS clients. David is a Certified Scrum Master.
Roberta Sutherland, Business Manager—held executive-level banking positions prior to coming to OBS, where she applies her financial acuity to agile publishing and its twin budgeting challenges of predictability and flux.
