| Summary | The James Cunningham & Son carriage factory on Canal Street. The business was known under this name from 1868 to 1882. It had previously been the James Cunningham firm and later James Cunningham, Son & Co. The company was one of the countr y's largest carriage manufacturers. The building in the center is the home of owner James Cunningham. It was built next to the factory, a common practice in the 19th century. |
